PsA & Exercise - extreme fatigue & flu like after
Hi all. Got a query. I can gently exercise like walking/hiking (heart rate 120bpm) for hours and hours with no ill effect but I find if I do 2-3 hours of harder (heart rate up to 150bpm) like cycling I end up with extreme fatigue - quite sudden like going down with flu. Lasts for a day. Wrists and joints play up. Any others? Is it normal?

Hello @Alan1664 and welcome to the community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that you find that as well.
I understand that you are suffering from fatigue and that your wrists and joints are playing up. Have you seen a GP or consultant about this? They may be able to help. In the meantime have a look at our website as it contains a lot of useful information, to help I've put a couple of links in below.
Please do keep posting and let us know how you are getting on and I am sure that others will connect with you to share their support and experiences as well
With very best wishes
Peter

Hi @Alan1664
I reckon you are overdoing it a bit. Your body is saying 'enough'.
The extreme fatigue you describe sounds just like one of my flares - flu like, slight temperature, aching joints.
I have to agree with Moderator peter though I would suggest a chat with your Dr or Rheumatology team to be on the safe side.
Take care
Toni x
