Introducing myself - Hi everyone!

I am brand new to this site but have already found some of these posts really helpful.

I am in the early stages of a diagnosis, for what I strongly suspect is OA in my hip, neck, some toes and possibly knees. My main symptom is pain and stiffness, limited movement. I'm in my 30's. I has bloods done last week and they have come back clear. I have a f2f next week and then possibly a scan? I'm unsure how long these things can take. OA is very much in my family.

You suspect that your symptoms of pain and stiffness are caused by OA and have a consultation next week that should help to confirm whether or not this is the case. 

It’s good to hear that you’ve already found some of the forum posts helpful. Please do get involved in as many discussions as you feel are relevant and perhaps post the results of your consultation such that forum members can help you through your arthritis journey (if that’s what the diagnosis confirms).

Make sure you have all your questions ready on the day with your symptoms.

its also good to find out who the secretaries are as they can be really helpful.

if you are given test or procedures than phone the appointment lines and get yourself on a cancellation list. It worked for me a few times now.
