Hello everyone, I have been collecting medical conditions for the past 15 years, with rheumatoid arthritis being the most recent and by far the most debilitating and life altering. I’m not trying to be flippant, just accepting of my conditions. (I already had a good cry in the GP’s office).
Anyway, I look forward to connecting in a positive way with others on this forum.

Hi @YasminT
welcome to our community, its lovely to have you hear. Collecting medical conditions is not easy but you will certainly find members here who are sadly in that club too. You mention that rueumatoid arthritis has proved to be the most debilitating so far. You might find it interesting and helpful to have a look at this link
This is our main overview page that might be helpful for you. Managing our conditions as best we can often means understanding it so we can ask our health care professionals questions about things we aren't clear on.
From a personal story perspective you might find Rachael's story useful
I am sure if you have questions our members will be able to support you. Please ask as many qustions as you need, we are here to support you
Best Wishes

Hi everyone I’m new to this site I have numerous diagnosis to my broken down body including arthritis in my spine and hip.
I had a hip replacement 3 years ago and recovered well even though I initially thought one leg was longer than the other 😀
I also have arthritis in my other hip, I miss getting around and can’t walk very far and had to retire early due to Ill health.
best wishes to everyone else in this awful pain 💐

Hi, @Pads and welcome to the forum. I see that you have arthritis in your spine and hip, have had a hip replacement 3 years ago that went well. Other forum members have reported the same on leg length. You are losing mobility and have difficulty with pain.
Here are some links to our website with, I hope, information you will find helpful:
Please do keep posting and let us know how you get on.

Hi @Pads
Welcome to the online community and thanks for your message. You've come to the right place and hopefully you'll meet others living with arthritis who can share some tips with you.
We've had others on here mention the one leg longer post surgery. Glad to hear your recovery went well.
Sorry to hear you're in pain with your other hip. Below I've posted some information that may be useful to you:
I've also posted a little bit about movement and stretching for the hips too in case this might help.
Take care and feel free to post again
