Waiting
Hi Barb here, I have been referred to the orthopaedic consultant by my NHS physios who have been treating me for about 15months for knee pain. I have one 7year replacement left knee which is swollen &very painful and the right knee is now not good (coming out in sympathy🤣)
Have now been waiting nearly 4 months since referral and not heard anything. Anyone any advice please

Welcome to the forum, @Barbs . I see that your physiotherapist has referred to you to an orthopaedic consultant after 15 months of treatment on your knee. You already have a 7-year-old replacement left knee. You think your right knee might be jealous at being left behind!
The problem with NHS waiting lists is not good and only likely to get worse, I fear. Here is a link to our website that contains some advice on waiting times:
Although you have already had one, here is a link dealing with knee replacement:
There are also many members experiences to be read on the forum.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.
