Hello from a newbie
Hi my name is Peggy. I have hyper mobility and over the years have had back & shoulder problems.
In 2019 I had breast cancer ( Ladies get those Mammograms done 😉).
I was HER2 Positive and received chemo, radiotherapy and then 18 months of Herceptin Injections.
Both my shoulders, upper and lower back, collar bone, neck (2 x steroid treatments not worked) hands and hip have now been diagnosed as having arthritis. I am 62.

Hi Peggy,
Another BC sufferer here - got asked what drugs I was on etc and my mind has shut down on all things to do with the subject. My symptoms definitely got worse after treatment though and now it hurts to walk.
Just wanted to let you know you are not alone in joining the arthritis club after cancer.

Thank you @Chris_R . I met my rheumatologist this morning and after an ultrasound, she confirmed it's definitely RA and she gave me a steroid shot. It's a lot to take in and I can't read anymore atm. I'm on monthly zoladex injections and I'm taking examestine, both for 10 years, so I'm currently a year in. I know the chemo might have played a part in amplifying and worsening my symptoms, but it is what it is.
