Well lovelies, I've joined your ranks after having a confirmed diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis this morning. My rheumatology appt went like this:
DR: so you won't remember anything I've told you
Me: repeats back what she says
2 hours later
Me: what did she say again?
Wow my doc is good - I'm impressed 😂
Seriously, I never thought I would end up like this, in constant pain at the age of 50. It was reassuring to know it can happen sooner, but it hadn't. Now to start processing all the information leaflets I've been given, and to get back in the swimming pool, since swimming helps. A lot.
