Hello @PAin85 and welcome to the online community,
You have arthritis in your upper arms and would like to know what you can do to ease the pain. You haven't spoken to the doctor about it, mainly because you can't get through to them. I hope this community will be a help to you - it's full of personal suggestions from members who have all experienced the pain of arthritis.
The Versus Arthritis website has some useful pages on managing pain, including self help treatments and gentle exercises for the shoulders - I've linked to them below.
Although it has been difficult to get in touch with many GP practices over the recent period, it is worth persevering. Your GP can assess your medication, refer to a consultant for further tests, or to a pain clinic where they can look at other ways you can manage your condition.
Do have a browse round the forum. You might find some useful suggestions in the Living with Arthritis forum, and you can post there any more questions you might have.
