Alternatives to Gabapentin

Hello everyone,

Thank-you to all who has welcomed me into the Versus Arthritis Community.

The Gabapentin is renowned for its weight gain, but would a lower dose lighten the impact as I am 5ft 2in and 12st 11lbs and this is way too heavy for my body frame! Which is all as affecting me walking upstairs, walking to the bus-stop and all so getting in-and-of vehicles etc.

Need some alternatives please.
