Driving with arthritis

I have osteo in my right knee and today after seeing my Consultant, having a pelvic x-ray, it was discovered that I had it in my right hip. I haven’t driven for a few weeks as I found it painful, moving my right foot from gas to brake. I shall be having a steroid injection in my right hip soon. Is there anything I can do as I am desperate to drive!

I sometimes wear an elasticated knee support, but I find the problem comes and goes. I find getting in and out the car the worse.

This page is very helpful https://www.versusarthritis.org/about-arthritis/living-with-arthritis/driving/
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
