hydrocortisone injections
Hi, last month I had injections in both knees. I have previously had an arthroscopy on the right knee and the injection has made a significant difference to my pain level. The left knee, however, has not been x-rayed or mri and the consultant chose to inject it because of the pain I experience. This injection has not worked at all. If anything, the left knee now seems worse. I am not due to go back to the clinic for further injections til September. Should I try and contact the clinic? I have been asking for an mri on the left knee for the last couple of years, as it feels as painful as my right knee did before they cleaned the loose bone bits out. Gp simply refers me on to clinic and will not authorise an MRI. I really don't know what to do.
