After BILATERAL TKRS
Hi
i had my op back in mid January & have been doing really well. The last few days however I’ve noticed a pain in my right knee. My hips are also starting to give me pain especially the right one. Is this a result of too much exercise? I’ve been using a static exercise cycle for about 30 minutes a day & walking as much as possible. I have also kept doing my physio. My knees were pain free until my hips started hurting. Thank you.

Hi Joan,
Thank you for posting on our on-line forum, we are sorry to hear that you are experiencing a lot of pain in your right knee and your hip.
If you have only recently had a replacement operation then it may be that you have been doing too much, so it may be worth getting this checked out by your healthcare practitioner or contact the physiotherapist that you have been seeing it could be that you will need to rest the joints for a short while.
Best wishes
