Glucosamine sulphate & methotrexate

Hi all, is anyone taking glucosamine sulphate whilst also on methotrexate? I've had a look online but finding some trusted info is hard to come by.

    Check with your local pharmacist. The reliable www.drugs.com doesn't list methotrexate as one of the drugs that shouldn't be mixed with glucosamine, WedMD (US site but reliable) says glucosamine shouldn't be taken with meth when it's used for cancer ie in much larger doses than we take it as it can reduce the effectiveness. It probably means it's OK for us but check it with the pharmacist.

    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
