Osteoarthritis in left knee
I was diagnosed 4weeks ago with osteoarthritis in the left knee. Having been back and forward to the GP and physio I am still in terrible pain. I'm in the process of trying another new cream. Does anyone have any suggestions to help. Is walking good for this while in pain. Thanks

Hi @Iona9
Welcome to the online community. I'm sorry to hear that you're having a rough time but also pleased that you have a diagnosis as hopefully things can start moving forward for you and you can get the help and treatment that you need. I suppose whether walking would be good for you or not would depend on how much you are effected by exercise. It is good to still do something as you need to keep the muscles that surround the joint healthy and strong for support. We have a few good bits of information here related to exercise which could be useful:
There is also some information about osteoarthritis which could be of interest to you too:
Hopefully the new cream will start to make some difference to you. Do keep taking a look around the community and join in wherever you feel comfortable!
Take care,
Sarah
