New shoulder
Hi. I’m now into my 9th week after a reverse shoulder replacement. I just wanted to thank this community for the support and advice I had before the operation. It was so helpful and encouraging. The consultant is very pleased with my progress and my movement is improving as long as I do my physio!! That’s the hard bit! I have been told not to expect full movement back but it should be pain free. The muscles ache but I got really excited yesterday when I hung the washing on the line - pain free!!😂So thank you and if I can help answer anyone’s queries, please drop me a line.

@hmr that is wonderful news!
Thank you so much for taking the time to thank everyone. I am very pleased to hear how well you are doing following your shoulder operation.
I hope you will decide to keep posting and as you have already offered - help others facing the same surgery in future.
Best wishes
Ellen.
