Recent diagnosis and put on 6 week course of steroids, I am type 2 diabetic and does seem to be raising blood sugars, only a few days in. Consultant suggested Methotrexate but ALT bloods were raised and awaiting ultrasound to check liver further. Consultant has suggested trying Hydroxychloroquine in the mean time and wondered what experience people have had with this ? Nothing seems to be straightforward for me ! Many thanks for any advice

I'm sorry. The more things we have wrong and the more meds we take the harder it all becomes to prescribe for us.
I've been on hydroxy for over 20 years but with methotrexate. I'm doing fine with both.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
