Methotrexate side effects

Hi all, I started methotrexate 4 weeks ago today. Started on 2 tablets, then 4 the week after, 8 the following week and then 10 today.

As far as side effects go I feel I've been rather lucky so far, with nothing more than (apologies but no other way to put it) soft stools. Though I noticed today that shortly after taking, I get a really funny taste on either side of my tongue. There's nothing like this listed in the side effects so I just wondered if anyone else has found this too?

People do talk about a funny taste @manamaga here so you are not alone.

I'm so pleased for you so far so good as far as side effects go that's great.
