in Living with arthritis

Hi - just wondering if there is anyone on here from in / around Southampton UK?

There doesn't appear to be any groups that meetup locally, but I was thinking that may be helpful - or at least share local knowledge etc.

Ive got RA - on Meths for it - feeling better than I did and keen to support others /have support myself when needed.

    Hi @Debzzah - Welcome to the online community!

    I see you’ve got Rheumatoid Arthritis and you’re on Methotrexate. You’re also looking for a local group bar Southampton where you can meet up with people.

    The online community is more about offering support to everyone, regardless of where they are based. Not everyone can or wants to meet up in person, ad the online community provides support for those people without a physical group (for whatever reason). However, Versus Arthritis does have some physical meet ups, have a look at the link below which may have some useful groups for you.

    If you have any questions, or just want to share ideas, thoughts, feelings, anything at all, we’re here for you. All members of the online community (including us mods and admin team) have some kind of arthritis and I’ve certainly found it easier to talk to people who have some similar understanding as to what I feel. Please do have a look around our different sections and see if there is something you want to say, or some question you could help answer.

    I am nowhere near Southampton @Debzzah

    I have been to the nearest group to me. I didn't decide to continue with it I felt a bit too young - perhaps I wouldn't now😁

    But what did happen was that I met up with two people from the forum there which was lovely. It was a few years ago now of course.

    Give it a go if there's one you can get to.
