Newly diagnosed
Hello I’m Jane. I’ve recently been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis. I’m waiting for an MRI scan and will then go on prednisolone and methotrexate after that. My symptoms started off to be quite sporadic but have got worse very quickly and now everyday I struggle to walk. Mainly my knuckles, knees and feet (toes) are affected. I have tried to be positive but that is getting harder. I can’t wait to start on the meds in the hope that life will go back to normal. Will it? Has anyone found additional therapies to help, such as cold water therapy, turmeric etc?
