Hesitant speech, difficulty finding words
I suffer most days from difficulty in finding the right word when I am speaking, also in remembering the word or phrase I was meaning to say, as I am speaking. I wondered if anyone else had experience or knowledge of this frustrating phenomenon? I wonder if it is caused by inflammation as it seems worse on days when my joints are sore.. any thoughts?

I can't relate to this and I've not heard anyone mention it on here before. I do think it should be checked out though. Do give tour health centre a ring.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hi @Fi22 It could be due to fatigue with being in pain. I have similar experiences when I have extreme fatigue. One of the terms used is brain fog.

I have found this since starting methotrexate. My rheumatologist insists it's due to the illness not the medication but I know it was after I started methotrexate (6 months after my arthritis started) my brain fogged over and has not been the same since.
