Seeking support
Hi, I am Sean, from Northern Ireland and I am a young adult living with Arthritis for a number of years. I am just curious to know if any other young adults from N.I are on this forum and can offer advice and support.
My back is very stiff and nothing seems to loosen it, despite all the physio over the years. I find it very difficult to sit at a desk as well.
The hardest part is loneliness. I'm yet to meet anyone my own age who has been through what I have, and I'd like someone to share with.
All advice welcome.
Thanks,
Sean

I se that you are a young adult living in N.I. You have major problems with your back for the last 10 years. You also have arthritis elsewhere. You are shortly to start biologic treatment. Side ffom the arthritis, you feel isolated and hope that you may make contact with others locally. This is a list of local groups. If you scroll down you will find a number which I hope are close enough to you to be helpful to you.
Here is information on biologic treatments:
From my own experience, patience is needed when you are treated with these drugs. I started in February, and I am just beginning to feel the benefit.

Take care and let us know how you get on.
