This morning I saw a rheumatologist at last, so its official: I do have rheumatoid arthritis. She also said that I have obvious damage in my hands and fingers which is permanent. I had been expecting that this would be the outcome but at least now I can get treatment. She also thinks that is causing the problems with my feet. Xrays very soon.

Hi @Andrea54
I've problems with my hands and wrists from another form of inflammatory arthritis - Psoriatic Arthritis. I use compression gloves which I feel help. I was also referred to a rheumatology podiatrist for my feet and she prescribed medical insoles which have also helped.
