Exercise Bike Alternative

The rheumatology physio suggested I use an exercise bike to help my knees. Looking at buying an exercise bike I was surprised at the weight of good ones - 30 to 40kgs - and the room they take up. I came up with an alternative. I've got a normal bike so I bought a cycle trainer which is a very stable triangular stand that locks onto the rear wheel of a standard bike lifting it off the floor. You can also set 10 different resistance levels. It's a lot more portable than an exercise bike so I can roll my bike into the back garden and cycle away at a standstill under the gazebo.
