Just joining. I have arthritis in one knee and it gradually getting more painful, more often. I joined this site to share hints and ideas on how to manage the discomfort. I look forward to some mutual help.

I understand that you have arthritis in one knee and have joined to share hints and tips. You are in the right place. Hi @Autolycus ,
I’m a strong believer in exercise to keep my joints flexible and my mind happy too! If you can manage it, walking, cycling or swimming are supposed to be the best for people with knee arthritis, and exercise bikes are good too - they’re all low impact exercises that help strengthen your muscles without damaging your joints. There’s some good exercises on the VA website that are specially for knee pain - I’ve tried them and they do help:
