Hi @ra2022 welcome to the Versus Arthritis Online Community.
I see from your post that you have a recent diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis and are finding it really hard. Your medication isn't right for you yet, that is tough and unfortunately can take some time to sort out.
These pages were put together especially for people newly diagnosed I really think they are worth a read:
There are absolutely local groups in various parts of the country where you could meet people 'in real life'. If you pop your postcode into this you will be able to find your nearest:
Perhaps you might like to have a look around now you are here and join in if you feel comfortable Living with Arthritis is probably the busiest category.
Very best wishes
Ellen.

Hi @ra2022
It is a really weird time when you first get diagnosed this thread by @GemPhill on the same subject:
There are some links in the thread which might help you.
Personally I tried a local group and met two other local (to me) forum members who gave me a lot of support in my early days.
The other thing I did was to go on one of VA's (arthritis care then) pain management courses. I can't remember how I found out about that I think I rang the helpline which you can obviously do too if you want to hear a voice?
Don't worry if all you do is cry if you ring I did that they are so patient and understanding.
((())) for you
Toni xx
