Apart from everywhere else (!), I have a very painful little finger bottom joint.

It is extremely painful to fold right down so I have several items to hold it fairly straight.

Product 1 was bought online and is handy for all fingers and thumb.

Product 2 was produced using a solid printer and can be made in various sizes.

Product 3 was made from me with black and white Velcro. Works well, but slowly shreds

See photo for details

If this is of potential help to anyone, reply and I will give more info.

If anyone has better kit, please let me know,

I remember someone years ago on here buying one of these (similar)

I liked the look I thought some people might think it jewellery given people wear a lot these days, but thought it might dig in and never tried it.

Your ideas are really great very resourceful to make your own.

It doesn't matter if the velcro slowly shreds over time it can be replaced can't it?

  • Yeah. Just make up a few, of varying length and chuck them when they break up.

I find the purchased one (cost about £8) not bad but doesn't quite give the support.

The velcro one is quite good but you have to remember to take it off when washing (up).

The printed one is fine and supports the whole finger. If it gets wet, give it a shake. The only problem is that it is not

completely smooth - the production process is not quite perfect.

Anyone else interested and I will show more detailed pictures.
