temporarily changing day for Methotrexate dose

Hi all,

Just wondering whether anyone can advise (I'm thinking ahead a fair bit here to a week in August). I normally take my MTX on a Wednesday, however at the start of August I'm volunteering at the Commonwealth Games (so am going to be very busy) and then a volunteer after-party is on the Wednesday. I'm thinking I may want to have a drink at the party (which I know I shouldn't do on the same day that I take the MTX) so is it better taking my MTX a day early on Tuesday or waiting until Thursday?

Personally, I'd just skip the meth that week but i've been on it for years and know there'll be no repercussions. It might be different for you.

I'd go the day after myself I deliberately and with permission moved my day from weds to Friday because the weekend was better to recover.
