I am wondering if anyone has had or considering having hip replacement surgery abroad. As we all know waiting time for surgery in UK can be a long and frustrating time. So I have been looking at options abroad where there is no waiting time. I would like to here from anyone that has been down that route, and would they recommend it as an option.

I certainly wouldn't. Too much to potentially go wrong.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Thank you stickywicket for your comment, I have looked at your link. All things considered I will probably stick with uk. It's the not knowing when your surgery will take place that's so frustrating. If they could give you a date even six months or longer at least you would have something to focus on.
