Just joined the group. Hello. Been dealing with rheumatoid arthritis since August 2020. Not the best time to start during a pandemic. Not yet on a pathway that is working and still on steroids, although mostly coping on a low dose, but have early onset osteoporosis just diagnosed. Eating healthy and doing yoga most days. Work full time and don’t have much energy to do much after that.

    Hi @angelversusdevil

Nice to meet you. I do hope they get you on some treatment which helps calm your Arthritis down ASAP steroids are not at all good for Osteoporosis I think?

Eating healthily is good as is yoga so it sounds as if you are doing your bit there.

Yes totally the worst time for acquiring RA is it during a global pandemic!

Just shout if there's anything we can help you with

    Take care

    Hello @USHA_PADMINI1972

Welcome to the online community and thank you for joining us.

So you have been diagnosed with Autoimmune Inflammatory Myositis which I believe is quite rare. You have been prescribed a number of medications including steroid injections which has induced osteoporosis. You have been bed ridden for a year but you are doing daily physiotherapy. You are wanting to know if anyone here has similar problems to yourself.

Thank you for sharing so much about your own situation with us. I have to admit that this is the first time I have aver come across you condition. From what Ive read, it sounds like it can be a very painful and challenging condition to be faced with. Im sure your fellow members will be happy to chat with you about symptoms that we all have in common. Although we all have different conditions, we all have various degrees of pain in common and how we deal with this can vary.

Ive attached some information below that you may want to have a look at. One is about ways in which we can manage our pain and the other is the details for our help desk which is open Monday to Friday. If ever you feel like you need to chat to anyone, this might be the place for you.

Please do let us know how you are getting on and do continue to keep getting involved in the community. We are a friendly bunch and are always looking to make new friends. You may want to check out our Val’s Café discussion as its where people go to chat on a daily basis, share what they are up to and swap stories and recipes.

    Hi @USHA_PADMINI1972

Don't know if this is relevant?

@Sandy1964 posted this earlier this year:

Best of luck and do hang about pain is pain and we are all here for each other even if our conditions vary slightly.

    Take care
