Had my diagnosis about 12 months ago at 66.

Came on suddenly as no previous issues, went from 0% to 100% pain over course of a week. Not fun.

Methotrexate is managing the symptoms but having some side effects since being upped to 25mg from 15mg as still had some pain on 15mg.

Discussing way forward with the local RA team currently.

Welcome to the versus arthritis forum. 

I see that you were diagnosed with RA fairly recently and are taking Methotrexate to help manage the symptoms. You are in the process of liaising with your RA team as regards to the way forward.
