Newly diagnosed
Hi everyone hope you’re well today I just recently had an x-ray showing arthritis in my neck and shoulder after months of pain I wish I had asked for an X-ray earlier, so I would have taken more care, feels like my life has suddenly changed I feel bad about not going to work, I’m just finding out about arthritis and I had a flare up last week,I didn’t know it could feel so bad, I’m sorry I don’t mean to bring any of you down but I feel I’ve had the rug pulled from under my feet,

Hi @Tiff
Welcome to the Versus Arthritis online Community.
I see from your post you have recently been diagnosed with Arthritis - Osteoarthritis (OA) I am presuming - in your shoulder and neck. You really do sound as though you are in shock and not at all sure what comes next. This is so understandable most of us felt like this when first diagnosed.
Can I suggest you read this it has been especially compiled for those newly diagnosed:
and this about neck pain (including Arthritis)
and finally this
Please don't feel you have brought any of us down. Everyone here understands how you are feeling.
Best wishes
Ellen.
