Hello and welcome to the forum, @Annh7 .
I see that you are 61 with arthritis in hip and ankle. Walking is extremely painful; you feel stressed, depressed and to make matters worse, DWP are pushing you to attend the Job Centre.
You do not say why the DWP are calling you in, but if it is work issues then this may help:
This sets out financial help that could be available to you:
and this some tips on improving your emotional wellbeing:
I wish you well in this difficult time. Keep posting and let us know how you get on.

Hi @Annh7
I'm sorry to hear how you are feeling. You are not alone, there are lots of members here who are in similar situations, so whenever you are feeling down please do reach out. Have you also spoken with your GP and checked that you are on the right medications? There is some useful info on managing pain on the versus arthritis website, and things that you can try which may help. What helps hip pain? | Versus Arthritis. Hoping you start to feel better soon x
