Hi i was advised to post here im waiting for a pip appeal and have been supplying sick notes to dwp since 2014 i have telephone app every 2weeks or had untill they sent me a form then put me in the work group on UC .via my journal they expect me to go to the job centre which i can not do as i can not walk that far the pain stress and anxiety is too unbearable just dont know what to do

    but just wanted to offer you my support. This sounds very cruel for someone who can'y physically get to the jobcentre. If I was you I'd actually telephone the Helpline when they open this morning ((()))

    Thanks for your post to the Helpline and sorry to hear that you are under pressure to physically attend a meeting. Whenever we speak to people about benefits and appeals and this whole area, we always recommend you involve a welfare specialist organisation to assist and advise. A Citizens Advice would be a first suggestion.

    I'm sure the Citizens Advice would want you to explain (and possibly remind) the Job Centre of the long term health issues which affect you - and as long as your GP is aware of all of the health issues which you are referring to (not just the physical ones).
