New symptoms- is it still RA?

Hello it’s my first post and wondered if anyone can advise me? I’ve been diagnosed for over two years have been doing well on Hydroxychloroquine from beginning and also Methotrexate for the last year. For last few months have had a flair up but very different symptoms than before. Tendon and Achilles tightness in left arm and leg. Weakness around the knee, limping and inability to put weight on left leg, shooting pains in leg and general pains in shoulder and upper chest when pressed. Been having therapeutic massage, Accupuncture and seeing a chiropractor weekly and it is easing but seeing new specialist in a few weeks and want to know what to say?

Welcome to the forum, @Orley I understand that you have RA, confirmed two years ago. Your treatment has been going well, although for the last few months you have had a variety of additional symptoms. You are to see a new specialist in a few weeks.

Please see the attached link for general information on the condition:

In preparation for the upcoming consultation, make a list so you forget nothing. Include all your experiences, including the complimentary therapies you have tried. The disease changes over time, so your new symptoms are no surprise.

Post again after your consultation and let us know how you get on.

    Good luck,

I started having problems with Achilles tendenosis and bone spurs last December in my left foot. I had what was thought to be osteoarthritis ( two knee replacements). That diagnosis was recently changed to psoriatic arthritis ( I don’t present with psoriasis rash). Blood work never indicated what my body was suffering. Normal for PsA. The heel problems and a few other symptoms tipped the scale for my new diagnosis. I’ll be starting on Otezla soon. PsA is an auto immune problem. I’m hoping this med can slow the progression of my arthritis. Good luck in finding an answer.
