I have arthritis in the knees
Hi all, I have arthritis of the knees for the past 7 years, and it’s getting worse. I am not immobile, I can still move around the house though I limp but walking even a short distance outside home is literally excruciating pain. I am depressed . I like to travel but without the ability to walk considerable distances it has become increasingly difficult to travel effectively.
I do yoga. But nothing is helping.

Hi @Sucheta
welcome to the community. Sorry to hear the arthritis in your knees is getting worse, and mobility is becoming more difficult. Have you spoken to your GP about what might be the next step for you to consider? It is totally understandable that you are feeling depressed as you are in a lot of pain. I would suggest that talking to your GP would be a good place to start. I hope this article is helpful for you
Our free confidential helpline would be a great place to phone for support
There are also some other discussions happening right now on the community with people in similar situations to you. Maybe join in and share
Let us know how you get on
Best Wishes
Sharon

Hi @Sucheta
I am sorry to hear how your knees are restricting you life.
How long ago were your knees last evaluated by a Dr? Are they maybe in need of something else now like surgery?
Sending you some ((()))
Take care
