Hello
I have had osteo arthritis for quite a number of years. It i is beginning to really impact on daily life. I have been told by medical people - GP, consultants over time that I have arthritis in my foot, knees, back and hands/arms. I do not see anyone medically. I have been managing my arthritis by trying to keep physically active, eating well and keeping a positive mindset. Recently the pain has been much much worse and I just don’t know what to do about it. I’m hoping by joining this community I will learn and get a clearer idea of what path to take.

Hi @Temasa. A very warm welcome to the Online Community. Lovely to have you with us! We are a great friendly bunch here, so do reach out and post to us through living with arthritis.
You have had osteoarthritis for a number of years and it is really beginning to impact on your daily life. It is good that you have been trying to manage by keeping active, eating well and having a positive mindset but we do understand that it can become hard to know what to do sometimes. I am sorry to hear that your pain has got much worse.
It is important to reach out to others for ideas to help you manage daily. Keeping up with the exercise is important, along with speaking to your GP about pain relief and you may also wish to ask the GP to prescribe you capsaicin cream, which if used regularly, can be a well-tolerated pain reliever.
Please do keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on
Best wishes
Jane
