Hello everyone on here,I suffer bad with athritis in my legs and feet,it's a nightmare,I have a lovely dog who I walk daily,but I would give a million just to have a pain free walk,it gets me so down with the damn pain and leg weakness,does anyone have any tips or advice how to get through this? Much appreciated ❤️

    You have arthritis in your legs and feet and you'd like any tips or advice on how to manage your pain.

    I am so sorry you're struggling like this.

    Have you thought about rubbing in some anti-inflam gel before your walk? Or looked at your footwear? The right shoes can really help. Erm the other option would be to think about walking aids, but you might not feel ready for that yet. Some people use knee braces too.

    I agree with Toni. Anti-inflam gel and good footwear can really help. I have ankle arthritis and I use an ankle support (compression sock) which I find invaluable. You can get ones for the knee as well which would be worth a try. And if my ankle is particularly painful I'll just walk more slowly - my dog doesn't care how fast we go, he's just happy we're out and about, as am I. Obviously not quite so much fun in the rain, but once you're wet you can't get any wetter so we try and enjoy that too!
