This is an interesting article - although the patients on the study were lupus sufferers there's a statement that this technology may be applied to other autoimmune diseases. They specifically mention RA.

@jamieA Its a great article, every little step helps, although there only being 400,000 RA patients in the UK & 1.4million in US means we are always going to be lower priority and solutions will be a by product of something more pressing. Hopefully it will receive funding.
