New Arthritis meds.

Hi peeps. Not been on for a while. Few months on after consultations at hospital, I have been diagnosed with early onset RA. Started some new meds today sulphasalazine. And some steroids.been reading the leaflet that came with the meds. (Wishing I hadn’t lol) is anyone else taking this medication please? Just wanting to feel less alone as I embark on this journey.😊

    Nice to see you again. I see you now have a diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis and have started on sulfasalazine. Reading the leaflet has worried you a little. Starting any new medication is obviously scary, but not everyone gets teh side effects listed and you will be monitored closely.

    Lots of our members have or are still taking this medication. As you'll know it's a Disease Modifying Anti-Rheumatic Drug. Hopefully it will control your Arthritis really well.
