Newly diagnosed with osteoarthritis
Hi, I've recently been diagnosed with osteoarthritis in my lower back hips shoulder neck elbows wrists hand and some of my fingers, my GP prescribed me naproxen but I'm quite concerned about taking it because I have high blood pressure that I'm on meds for, am I reading to much into it, any advice would be welcome, thank you

Welcome to the online community,great to see you posting.
You say that you have recently been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis in lower back,hips,shoulder, neck , elbow,wrists,hands,and some fingers and have been prescribed naproxin and are a bit unsure if it will affect your Blood pressure medication.
Did you ask the GP to check wether it is compatable or not? if not go back and ask,Gps usually check compatability but worth checking.

I'd agree with Mod Chris. GPs do sometimes put us on meds that could interact because sometimes it's Hobson's Choice for them but, yes, do check that your GP was aware. Pharmacists are also a good source of meds knowledge,
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
