Hello just like to ask how long it has to be between spots at hos p ,I was last seen 2021 August and have not heard a thing not even a rheumo nurse which I find ridiculous as I used to be seen every 6 month ,I know with covid it was bad but I'm curious of others how they see hosp ,I live in Scotland ,thank you Cathy .

Think you should chase them up. If you don’t get a reply, maybe contact G P. Good luck.

I agree, it’s ok to chase them up, either with the hospital (if you have their number) or through your GP. Mistakes happen, you may have simply been overlooked

    Hi @Bell

I assume if you've previously been seen 6 monthly you are assigned to a rheumatology consultant? If so do you still have your pink contact card? I'd call the consultant's secretary if I were you to ask what's going on. I live in Scotland too - my last and next consultation is by telephone with an option for a follow up face to face appointment if necessary.

I'm in Scotland too but it's the same as when I was in England. Appointment times vary according to how I am. Between 6 weeks and 12 months I've been on 12 months for some time now, by phone since covid kicked off but always with a reminder to call them if needed.

If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I miust be very lucky where I am. I get regular three monthly phone sessions, text chases for blod tests and the reheumatology nurse never fails to call me back the same day if I call for help. I moved recently, just waiting to see if that level of service continues. So far the omens are not good.
