knee pain in both knees
had severe pain in left knee which i could not even stand up or walk at all phoned 111 and had to go to hospital late at night ..the doctor didn't even send me for x ray gave me some pain killers and gel... i was in agony phoned my local gp which referred me to have x ray on both knees i had to wait for the x ray for a few weeks plus book a steroid injection that was 6 weeks ago now still in pain and i had to phone the doctor for results from x rays.. thee receptionist said both knees are abnormal still waiting for steroid injection .. have been virtually bed ridden for 6 weeks its really affecting my quality of life took pain killers but i am allergic to most if them im just praying i get the injection soon

It sounds like you're having a tough time at the moment, and your pain isn't being managed well. I hope the steroid injections happen sooner rather than later for you; in the meantime, you might find some information on how to manage pain helpful. Remember to try and keep the joint moving little and often to avoid the stiffness which can increase pain.
