Newly diagnosed
Hi I've been having problems with joint pain for about 6 months and have just been diagnosed with Osteoarthritis. I'm 59 and currently work three days a week for the NHS as a HCA. I've been signed off for two weeks due to being in a lot of pain. I was also diagnosed with Fibromyalgia 18 years ago so have been in some sort of pain for the last 18 years. The pain from the Fibromyalgia is more of a heavy muscle ache whereas this is definitely in my joints and varies from a sharp stabbing to a constant ache in my joints. I have pain in my hands, knees and hips
Im hoping to find help here on how to live with this and any tips people might have to make life easier 😊
