Oh that's awful are they too tight or is it the texture I wonder🤔
My feet can be very sore when they are flaring in fact all of my body has been too sore even to have sheets on them but it usually pretty well passes when the flare does.
((())) for you

On the contrary, I have to wear socks even with my surgical shoes to makè bits softer.
Have you tried different kinds of socks? eg ones with no seams or soft top ones?
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Have you tried wearing socks made with bamboo? They are really soft and quite stretchy and I find them very comfortable.

socks for Diabetics are pretty comfy. They have stretchy tops that are not tight.

You can buy special socks for oedema if you google it you'll find options @Pinkorchid
As the others have said they might be actually called diabetic socks.
I got some for my FIL years ago his feet were so swollen he drove into a petrol station shop when one got stuck on the accelerator, (Don't worry the car went after that).
Do try to get some you need to be warm enough this coming winter ((()))
