Gym training
I have been recently diagnosed with arthritis in my hip so am doing a lot of exercises at the gym for my glutes and quads.
Should I be going for light weights and lots of reps or heavy weights and lower reps for strength ..or doesn’t it matter?
Thank you

Hello @Ade and welcome to the community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that will be your experience as well.
I understand that you have been diagnosed with arthritis in your hip and wondering about exercise. It obviously depends on the individual but usually lees but frequent is better than blitzing it as this will keep the joints moving but less likely to further damage them. Always best to seek professional advice though like medical or a trainer at the gym. Also have a look through the following
Please keep posting and let us know how you ae getting on
With very best wishes
