Hi newbie here!😃
Hi,
ive had OA in my left foot for few years, and have had 4 lots of surgery. In 2020 I had surgery in my right foot. Today I’ve been back at the hospital and had the choice of surgery again or steroid injections again! I’ve decided to opt for the injections this time after the consultant suggested that would be better because of my “young age”!(I’m 57!) I’m feeling quite down about it all and trying to come to terms that I’ll still need to have surgery in the near future but trying to be mobile as I enjoy walking my Labrador Maggie!
I’m still working as a teacher in a primary school but it’s getting more difficult to do. I find I’m in pain for most of the day and feeling fatigued (despite having 2weeks off at half term!) I want to finish working but I just can’t afford it!
So this is me!😃xx

Hello @Kaz18 and welcome to the community. We are a friendly and supportive group and I hope that will be your experience as well.
I understand that you have Osteoarthritis in your feet but trying to keep mobile. Dog walking is good as it makes you do it. We also have some stretching exercises which might help.
We also have a lot of useful information on our website and I would recommend having a look around it. To help I've posted a link below
Please keep posting and let us know how you are getting on and I am sure that others will connect with you to share their support and experience as well
With very best wishes
