Discrimination
I was recently diagnosed with arthritis and have to use either walking sticks or a mobility scooter. I am shocked at the negative reactions of people while I’m out shopping etc. don’t get me wrong there are lovely patient people out there but some people have treated me as an annoyance. Is this the norm?

Welcome to the forum, @Karenfrances12 . I see that you were recently been diagnosed with arthritis, though you do not say what type, or what your personal difficulties may be. If you care to share theses with the forum, I am sure that you will find help and support.
You do comment on the lack of consideration shown by others. I am now going to show my age, but there has undoubtedly been a decline in civility since I was young. I am afraid that it is a feature of modern lif. We can only hope that the pendulum swings the other way over time.
Here is a link to general information on arthritis:
Enjoy the forum and let us know how you get on,
