Work occupational health
I work in a primary school and earlier in the year I requested to have OH come to assess me as I’m now feeling like I need to have things in place to help me. It’s still not happened but now I’m getting worse, I asked my Head this morning if we could get it sorted. She hadn’t realised it’s not been done and said yes she’ll get it sorted but it’s costing school £1,000. I now feel rubbish because last week she said in staff meeting that there was no money in the pot! I don’t know what to do. I’m feeling like I’m taking valuable money from the children!
sorry I’m ranting!😔😡

Hi @Kaz18
Welcome to the online community and thanks for getting in touch.
Am sorry to hear that it has worried or concerned you, you could perhaps tell your employer about the Access to work grants available through the government as this might help, you can find out more here
And also here
ACAS and SCOPE may also be able to give further info about financial support available for reasonable adjustments and Abilitynet.
However, it is also important not to feel guilty as the school budget is not something that is your responsibility, and your health is important. Appreciate this is easy for me to say! Hope you get some support soon!
Best wishes
