Hi. I have hip osteo and atrial fibrillation. I’ve been told this means I may or may not be suitable for surgery. I’ll find out more in January maybe, when I am seeing the hospital with a view to going on the waiting list. The arthritis is very limiting though not usually massively painful and I am a bit concerned about the future- I don’t deal well with uncertainty. Anyway, I thought it would be good to be part of this community. And as a bonus maybe I can help others :-)

welcome to the community, I can understand how hard it is not know what is going to be happening to you in relation to your hip. Probably the best thing to do at the moment is to learn as much as possible so that you can understand what the options might be and have a list of questions when you have your appointment in January.
