Hypersensitivity to dmards

I'm nervous to start Arava. I've tried more than 10 different biologics/dmards over the last 11 years and had several severe infections or reactions. Reactivated Epstein Barr virus, bacterial colitis and mastitis are a few examples.

Any advice or information would be appreciated!

    I’m don’t know what dmards are.

    i have a hypersensitivity to retards, especially when they’re moaning about me being in the way in a shop when I’m in my powerchair.

    Dmards= Disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs.

    But i agree that people can be very impolite!

    I actually thought twice about posting that not wanting to cause offence, but in the end I thought it was funny.

    and I learnt something new as well.

    Crikey! That's a lot of meds to have problems with. I'm lucky that methotrexate and hydroxychloroquine work for me.

    I was, briefly, on Arava once. I got on OK with it. I have a friend who has been on it for years. It really does seem to be a matter of 'suck it and see' with DMARDS. I do hope this works for you, without problems. Certainly, without such big ones. Good luck!

    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.
