Scream
Sometimes I want to scream out loud, but i Know that will hurt too!! I have osteoarthritis head to toe (25 years now), (so many names to remember for all the different areas), I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia 2 yrs ago and with D.I.S.H 4 months ago. I thought my Yin yoga classes were helping everything, then I got stuck in a pose for the last 25 min of class last week, as my back went. Now my knees are so swollen I can hardly keep myself upright, and back keeps going out, and I have no way to keep myself upright or support myself. I know it's holiday season and everything is shut, and even when everything is open again it will prob take an age to get a new physio app. But nothing feels good, and I'm scared of where this is all leading me. Is there anyone else out there who feels the same, or has D.I.S.H., its so hard to find out much about it. X (apologies if this sounds ranty)

I don 't have DISH but got this info from a reliable USA site. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/diseases/17948-diffuse-idiopathic-skeletal-hyperostosis
As for physio - what about a private one? Our excellent local one will fit you in in a couple of days, charges about £35 for a good hour's session then leaves you to get on with the tailored exercises unless you want to make a further appt. I've never needed to.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Hello @ED40 and welcome to the online community,
First of all, don’t apologise for how you’re feeling - all of our members understand that some days we just need to have a rant about our situation and this is just the place to do it! I’m sure others will agree.
So, you have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia and have recently been diagnosed with DISH. Your back and joints have become less flexible and swollen and you’re worried about where this is all leading. There isn’t a lot of information about DISH online, but this American site gives some detail about symptoms, treatment and self help:
The Versus Arthritis website has some suggestions for gentle exercises to address back pain ( link below), but it’s important to remember that you mustn’t overdo it.
Do have a look round the forum and join in wherever you feel comfortable,
